Subramanyapuram - the movie

Probably a relief to movie lovers who like classics. Here is a movie dipped with madurai tamizh filled with aruvaals and hirsute youths trying to find a footing in life and finally losing themselves to their whims. The romance in the movie is intense with the heroine's eyes talking a million dialogues and I also heard my brother say "semmaiya look vidura ava".The ending is tragic but the director sasi and hero jai have really done their job perfectly. Hats off to the director for excellent scenes and bringing us back to 80s.James Vasanthan's "kangal irandal" is awesome and reminds of Raja's songs of the yore. The movie is certainly not a bore but somehow something is missing which gets filled by the climax of the movie.

This movie is watchable.........go for it.

Rasam Satham and Me

Have you ever wondered about the greatness of rasam satham (rice mixed with a southern indian soup like dish called rasam)? You wouldnt because you eat it everyday. Thats how I have been taken for a ride here in my daily life. Because I am always there and always available for others to ridicule me,talk to me,poke me et al...But the plain rasam satham has many flavours - tomato based, lime based, tamarind based etc....as versatile as me...But yet it is just dismissed as plain rasam satham just like me the plain old navin in real life. But rasam satham is the ultimate cure for all .......And the analogy goes on.....

Yes I am back to blogging..........Hope this initiative is appreciated.....:)
